When an exciting getaway to sunny Orlando, Florida is on the calendar, travelers will find there’s no shortage of possibilities for fun and adventure! Here, the sun shines year-round, and opportunities to get into nature, explore theme parks, museum hop, shop, and check out incredible restaurants make it easy to customize your stay according to personal travel style. Many travelers take time to enjoy Orlando specifically to infuse some much-wanted magic into their stay. A trip to Walt Disney World is always a good way to accomplish this thanks to character meet-and-greets, parades, incredible parks, and even a water park and shopping stops to check out. While a day at Disney is sure to thrill, the excitement continues after the regular park hours come to an end. Those who are looking to make even more of the Disney fun will want to be sure to come experience Disney’s After Hours events in Orlando this year. Returning in 2023 after a three-year pause, Disney’s After Hours Orlando events are shaping up to be better than ever before. Dates have been released for spring, summer, and winter with destinations like Typhoon Lagoon, Hollywood Studios, and Epcot included.

A One-of-a-Kind Disney Event Experience

Participating in a Disney After Hours event in Orlando is easy. Guests need only purchase a ticket in addition to any daytime park passes they might have in hand. Of course, the After Hours events are also fun on their own so if you purchase these exclusively, you’ll have just as much in the way of entertainment to look forward to! In fact, exclusively booking tickets to an After Hours event comes with the benefit of being able to enter the park a few hours early at no added cost. This is a great way to take advantage of rides and attractions in addition to the festivities that are included as part of the After Hours event. Plan on setting aside around 3 hours for each After Hours event and count on enjoying free snacks along the way as well. These events are much like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party or Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party minus the organized performances that often define seasonal festivals.

The beauty of purchasing a ticket to a Disney’s After Hours event is that you’ll be able to enjoy your favorite parks without having to compete with vast crowds. There are only a limited number of tickets sold for each event to ensure guests get the unique feeling of having the park to themselves in some way. Ticketholders will have access to over 20 attractions this year and it will be hard to top the fact that your ticket entitles you to as many free Mickey Ice Cream Bars as you can eat!

Enjoy Event Highlights

If you’re a food enthusiast who has booked a Disney After Hours event ticket, your tastebuds will thank you for the experience. In addition to complimentary Mickey Ice Cream Bars during these events, guests can indulge in free popcorn, water, other beverages, and specialized event snacks too. While you dine in Disney style, you won’t have to wait in long lines. In fact, the strategic number of tickets means most of the time wait times for attractions are less than 20 minutes in total. This is extra exciting when you’re looking forward to rides that are typically packed like Rise of the Resistance or the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. For all Disney After Hours Orlando events, early entrance to the park is a particularly exciting perk. Hollywood Studios, Epcot and Magic Kingdom open their doors to After Hours event ticketholders at 7:00 pm. This means an added 2.5 to 3 hours of park fun before the event even kicks off.
